Overland
trip through the Patagonia Chile-Argentina
The Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia hides two of the most beautiful
natural reserves of the planet: Torres del Paine (Chile), Los Glaciares
and Fitz Roy (Argentina) National Parks. The granite towers, which
change colors throughout the day, point to the sky, proud and inaccessible.
These parks, a paradise for climbers and trekkers, are also an aesthetic
wonder, where the abundant fauna is not afraid of posing for photographers.
Guanacos, ñandus, hares, foxes, condors, etc., have found a
shelter there and constantly surprise the passing visitors. Patagonia
is a succession of waterfalls, glaciers fading away into unexpected
colored lakes, icebergs floating like vessels adrift, and the wind
blowing unceasingly. From Punta Arenas, we will discover the main
features of the Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia. |
